How to Log-in to the Members Area

 

Only LCC Club Members are allowed access and you will need to confirm your membership by registering before you can gain access.

Before you register add the email address This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to your email client's Address Book or Contacts list. (this will ensure that it is not treated as Spam).

Then go to the Home page and click on 'Register' 

After clicking on the register button you will be asked to privide the information as shown below:-


 *Please use your REAL NAME as your ‘User Name’ so that other members can identify you (this is held on a secure data base and can NOT be seen by anyone other than club members).

Also include your BOAT NAME so that you can be verified as a club member’ The system will reject you otherwise!!!  (If you are a club member but no longer have a boat enter ’No Boat’)

A few minutes after submiting this form you will recieve an automatic email asking you to confirm your request by clicking on a link.

After confirming your email a message is sent to me to activate your account - I will do this as soon as I can. But, I may not be on-line at the time so, please be patient!

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Q: “Why am I not getting an email from LCC after registering?”

A:  As the email is sent from the Lymm Cruising Club server it may be seen as spam by your email client.

PLEASE check your Spam / Junk folder and also add the email address  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   to your email address book or contact list.

If you have still not received it, then try to login using the Username & Password that you entered and the 'system' will automatically resend the email. DO NOT use the Forgot login button at this stage.

 

Q: “I enter the correct password but cant login, why?”

A: First of all check that the 'CAPS LOCK' on your computer is off!

Failing this it could probably be a browser problem. Just restart your browser (or computer) and go to the login screen and try again.

It might also be due to proxy or caching software (like Google Desktop) on your computer. You can try to disable all extra software and restart your browser and try again.

 

Q: “I have forgot my password?”

A: At the bottom of the 'Member Login' box.. click on the 'Forgot login link' and follow the on-screen intructions. You will then be sent an email with a NEW randomly generated password. Use this NEW password to access your account. You can then go into your 'Profile' and change the password back to your original one. If you wish.

 

Q: “Can I get help if I am stuck?”
